This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Convert roadmap priorities into actionable engineering strategies and align development resources with key initiatives.
• Oversee the planning and execution of technical projects throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Create and maintain project timelines, milestones, and delivery plans as both business and technical requirements evolve.
• Monitor dependencies across engineering workstreams and address any conflicts or obstacles that arise.
• Coordinate releases and technical efforts across web, mobile, API, backend, and other engineering teams.
• Evaluate project health using quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback; highlight risks and opportunities to leadership.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and visibility regarding status, decisions, risks, and next steps.
• Remove obstacles for engineering teams, facilitate technical discussions and decision-making, and manage project ceremonies.
• Act as a technical liaison for external partners, customers, and stakeholders.
• Collect external requirements and convert them into technical specifications, plans, and priorities.
• Manage technical deliverables, integrations, timelines, and dependencies across both internal and external organizations.
• Balance stakeholder priorities and expectations, identifying trade-offs and escalating issues as necessary.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, leadership, and other cross-functional teams.
• Transform technical information and project updates into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Enhance engineering processes, resource allocation, and project execution.
• Undertake other related tasks as assigned.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management, preferably within a fast-paced technology or startup environment.
• Strong comprehension of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Proven experience in coordinating complex projects across various engineering teams, technical workstreams, and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities, capable of managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the capacity to effectively translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solver who anticipates risks, dependencies, and blockers before they affect project delivery.
• Collaborative leader who fosters trust through sound judgment, accountability, and follow-through.
• Comfortable engaging in technical discussions and working closely with engineers and engineering leadership.
• Experience managing external partners, vendors, customers, or other stakeholders through intricate technical projects.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to modify processes according to team and project needs.
• Bonus: Experience in the healthcare sector, especially in regulated environments.
