IT Project Manager – CTO's Operating Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the Technology portfolio encompassing IT, Security, and Product, ensuring the management of initiatives, owners, timelines, statuses, risks, and decisions.

• Oversee the operational cadence, which includes leadership agendas and notes, tracking action items, managing vendor and contract renewal calendars, monitoring salary caps and budgets, and preparing executive reports.

• Alleviate the CTO of operational tasks by coordinating with vendors, following up on procurement, managing hiring logistics, handling cross-department requests, and maintaining documentation.

• Ensure follow-through by pursuing commitments, identifying obstacles, escalating with suggestions, and closing the loop with stakeholders.

• Implement AI technologies to improve and streamline business processes.

• Utilize and maximize Power Digital's Nova ecosystem in relation to the department.

• Monitor KPIs such as portfolio visibility, the CTO's operational footprint, action item completion, reporting cadence, and vendor renewal management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in project/program management, chief of staff, or technology operations roles supporting a senior technology leader.

• Proven experience managing multi-workstream programs using a work-management tool.

• Excellent written English skills: capable of transforming disorganized updates into professional status reports or decision memos.

• Familiarity with budgets, vendor contracts, renewals, and procurement workflows.

• Sufficient technical literacy to credibly monitor IT, security, and software tasks and ask pertinent questions.

• Tenacious and respectful follow-up; able to hold senior stakeholders accountable for commitments.

• Proficient spoken and written English (C1+ or higher).

• Availability during US business hours, with the ability to work after hours on short notice.
