IT Project Manager – CTO's Operating Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the Technology portfolio and ensure a unified source of truth for IT, Security, and Product initiatives.

• Monitor owners, deadlines, statuses, risks, and decisions related to various initiatives.

• Facilitate the operational cadence, which includes preparing leadership meeting agendas, taking notes, tracking action items, managing vendor and contract renewal calendars, overseeing salary caps and budget tracking, and preparing executive reports.

• Coordinate with vendors, follow up on procurement, manage hiring logistics with the Talent team, and handle cross-department requests and documentation.

• Ensure accountability by following up on commitments, identifying blockers, escalating issues with recommendations, and closing the feedback loop with stakeholders.

• Leverage AI technologies to improve and optimize business processes.

• Utilize and maximize Power Digital's Nova ecosystem in relation to the department.

• Report directly to the CTO and provide support to the Technology organization across IT, Security, and Product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project/program management, chief of staff, or technology operations roles supporting a senior technology leader.

• Proven experience managing multi-workstream programs using a work-management tool.

• Strong proficiency in written English: capable of transforming disorganized updates into executive-ready status reports or decision memos.

• Familiarity with budgets, vendor contracts, renewals, and procurement workflows.

• Sufficient technical understanding to credibly track IT, security, and software work and to ask pertinent questions.

• Persistent yet respectful in follow-ups; comfortable holding senior stakeholders accountable to their commitments.

• Advanced spoken and written English (C1+ level or higher).

• Availability during US business hours and willingness to be available after hours on short notice.
