This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in technical transformation initiatives.
• Oversee the planning, estimation, execution, and delivery of projects and programs.
• Create project plans that encompass milestones, deliverables, schedules, deadlines, changes, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Organize project tasks and implement solutions under managerial guidance.
• Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate and participate in project meetings while communicating across various departments.
• Collaborate with technology teams and clients to specify and drive technical alterations.
• Generate project status reports and relay updates to clients and management.
• Work together with and mentor fellow Project Managers.
• Provide proactive leadership and oversight for internal and client-driven initiatives, projects, and installations from inception to completion.
• Ensure projects adhere to scope, requirements, deliverables, timelines, and established standards.
• Review project status, identify risks, and communicate them effectively.
• Manage client expectations while balancing Summit and client requirements.
• Act as an escalation point for pre-installation client support issues.
• Identify further project opportunities by communicating with clients and internal teams.
• Proven experience managing complex initiatives, including new implementations at data center facilities, managed services, application, and infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years in a project management office or as a project manager.
• Training in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency in MS Project or Visio is required.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced technical office setting.
• Proficient in organizing, conducting, and documenting complex meetings.
• Skilled in managing multiple priorities and delegating as necessary.
• Leadership ability to inspire technical personnel throughout the various stages of a project.
• Experience aligning client vision and business objectives with critical success factors.
• Familiarity with architecture, development, integration, and deployment phases of projects.
• Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in estimating and utilizing common project management desktop tools.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and change effectively.
• Competence in managing large or multiple projects with shifting priorities.
