Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of essential security and IT projects.

• Take ownership of assigned projects from inception to completion.

• Develop and sustain comprehensive project plans across multiple simultaneous technology initiatives.

• Identify, monitor, and alleviate project risks and inter-team dependencies.

• Collaborate across IT, Security, Engineering, Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, and Legal departments.

• Maintain transparency into milestones, status updates, risks, dependencies, decisions, and any alterations to scope or timelines.

• Deliver clear, actionable updates to key stakeholders and senior management.

• Conduct regular sync meetings, manage communications, and eliminate obstacles.

• Facilitate decision-making by identifying responsible parties, documenting results, and escalating unresolved matters.

• Leverage AI and automation to enhance workflows and boost operational efficiency.

• Manage vendor relationships, oversee procurement processes, renewals, and contract administration.

• Convert business requirements and intricate technical specifications into actionable plans.

• Ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and aligned with business goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in technical Project Management within SaaS or technology sectors.

• Demonstrated success in managing complex, cross-functional tech and data projects with various dependencies.

• Proficient in collaborating with Security, IT, and Business teams, with a solid understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, architecture dependencies, and software delivery processes from a project management perspective.

• Skilled in transforming unclear initiatives into structured execution plans featuring distinct milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, and measurable outcomes.

• Capable of distilling complex project information into succinct, actionable updates for senior leadership.

• Active user of AI tools and automation techniques.

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Google Workspace or similar platforms.

• Must be adept at functioning effectively in a distributed, remote work environment.

• PMP certification is preferred but not required.

• Additional experience with security frameworks and compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, NIST, and GDPR is a plus.

• Background in IT and cybersecurity initiatives is advantageous.

• Experience with IAM, SSO, and MFA implementations is desirable.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, and security tools is beneficial.

• Experience with ITSM frameworks and service management practices is a plus.

• Background in vendor management and procurement processes is a plus.

• Experience in facilitating audits and collecting compliance evidence is advantageous.
