This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Manage and execute complex, enterprise-wide, high-impact transformational technology projects and multi-project programs.
• Facilitate alignment between business requirements and IT capabilities to guarantee the success of projects, programs, and portfolios.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance collections of interrelated projects in collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.
• Supervise and govern IT projects and programs of various sizes and scopes, ensuring they fulfill business objectives.
• Leverage business insight and organizational knowledge across administrative, clinical, human resources, information technology, and quality functions.
• Create, maintain, and implement comprehensive project or integrated program plans, which include charters, scope definitions, communication strategies, roadmaps, resource allocations, timelines, milestones, deliverables, risk registers, and dependency management.
• Lead and manage Project Managers and Project Analysts.
• Offer talent development, coaching, and performance assessments.
• Oversee the requisition process from candidate evaluation and selection through to the onboarding of new staff.
• Associate's degree with four (4) years of program management experience OR Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of program management experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience in leading and managing IT teams for the delivery of IT projects and programs.
• Background in project or program management oversight within a regulated industry.
• Experience in business-facing and executive-level reporting for IT projects or transformation initiatives.
• Project management certification such as PgMP, PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or a comparable certification will be accepted.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Residency in North Carolina is required.
• Ability to travel within the catchment area as necessary.
• All candidates must successfully pass a drug test as a condition of employment.
• Preferred: degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Accounting, Sciences, Public Policy, or Healthcare Administration.
• Preferred: Master's or advanced degree.
• Preferred: experience supervising two (2) or more employees.
