Senior Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of one of two tracks: Order-to-Cash Integrations Projects or CRM & Martech Projects

• Manage the Order-to-Cash process from start to finish across both legacy and modern technology stacks

• Develop the integration ecosystem strategy, reusable patterns, and connection standards

• Collaborate on the transition from the legacy system as the technical lead for the new platform's O2C integration layer, encompassing data models and API contracts

• Assess integration vendors, service level agreements (SLAs), and make build-versus-buy decisions

• Act as a liaison between legacy and new-stack engineering teams regarding O2C data contracts and dependencies

• Oversee the Salesforce 2A sunset project, including planning, timelines, execution, data migration, and cutover processes

• Lead the Salesforce STAR sunset project

• Manage the relationship with the HubSpot vendor, including contract terms, SLA performance, and alignment with the roadmap

• Direct the roadmap and implementation of marketing automation workflows primarily based on HubSpot

• Identify risks associated with sunset projects and develop mitigation and rollback strategies

• Become a member of the project management and product operations team

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in software engineering with experience in building, maintaining, or integrating production systems, preferably involving APIs, middleware, or data pipelines

• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical trade-offs to engineers, vendors, and business stakeholders

• Detail-oriented and methodical approach to complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects, including sequencing, risk assessment, and timeline management

• Ability to comprehend and analyze system architecture and data models across various interconnected systems

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting scope boundaries during platform migrations

• Familiarity with billing, invoicing, or CRM systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, HubSpot, Stripe, Metronome, Workato, or similar platforms

• Experience in vendor management, including contract negotiations and SLA discussions

• History of working in a company undergoing a transition from legacy to modern platforms

• Proven experience in defining integration strategies or organizational standards, including point-to-point, iPaaS/middleware, or event-driven architecture patterns

• A formal project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is advantageous but not mandatory
