Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the daily program management, scheduling, reporting, and coordination efforts of the BASIS program.

• Aid in overseeing cost, schedule, and technical performance across application sustainment, modernization, and security initiatives.

• Support coordination of Agile sprints.

• Help maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).

• Create status reports and presentations.

• Monitor risks and issues.

• Facilitate communication between technical teams, subcontractors, and Government stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience, which may include supervisory or lead roles.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Ability to secure a Public Trust clearance.

• Experience in project coordination, project management, or program support roles, ideally within IT or software development sectors.

• Knowledge of project management essentials such as schedule management, risk tracking, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience in supporting sprint-based delivery teams.

• Expertise in Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and JIRA.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of creating clear and concise status reports and briefing materials for Government and senior leadership audiences.

• Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks, monitor deliverable deadlines, and escalate issues promptly.

• Capacity to work collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional DoD program environment.

• PMP certification or active pursuit; CAPM is accepted.

• SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or similar Agile certification.

• Prior experience in supporting DoD or Federal government IT programs with formal deliverable requirements.

• Experience in DevSecOps program environments and sprint-level project tracking.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow for workflow and incident management.

• Active Security+ certification.
