Senior IT Project Manager – Laboratory Systems, Pharma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Plan, execute, and successfully deliver IT projects within the quality lab environment.

• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish project scope.

• Implement quality assurance processes for IT systems.

• Perform risk assessments and create mitigation strategies.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Lead project teams and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

• Encourage the adoption of best practices in IT project management.

• Prepare and present project status reports.

• Manage vendor relationships tied to IT quality lab projects.

• Oversee Document Management Systems (DMS).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management with a focus on quality assurance.

• Proficient in project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and risk management principles.

• Demonstrated success in delivering projects in complex IT environments.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

• Familiarity with GxP regulatory compliance requirements.

• Experience with Document Management System (DMS) solutions.
