This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee one or more teams associated with an Agile Release Train.
• Protect delivery teams from both anticipated and unforeseen demands.
• Work in partnership with Transformation leadership to formulate Objectives and Key Results.
• Administer program intake through evaluation, estimation, and strategic planning.
• Oversee scope change procedures and enforce governance for scope management.
• Facilitate coordination among cross-functional teams involved in transformation programs.
• Manage weekly health assessment meetings, generate dashboards, provide status updates, monitor risks, escalate issues, conduct process audits, and prepare reports.
• Ensure data accuracy in Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Improve quality standards across various teams.
• Monitor cross-dependencies with teams outside the program.
• Supervise adherence to processes and initiate remediation measures as needed.
• Assist with organizational change management, user training, and knowledge retention services.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or a similar field.
• Significant experience in utilizing, managing, and supporting teams with Agile program management tools, including Jira and Confluence.
• Candidates must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Preferred: Certification in Project or Program Management, such as PMP.
• Preferred: Certification in Lean-Agile practices, such as Certified Scrum Master or SAFe.
• Preferred: Experience in managing complex programs utilizing cloud-native technologies.
• Preferred: Over 12 years of experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or a related field.
• Preferred: Experience managing programs that support Platform service-oriented or SaaS-based solutions.
• Preferred: Experience in administering and managing user access, workflows, and trackers in Jira and Confluence.
