Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning and comprehensive execution of software development initiatives and projects.

• Work in conjunction with Product and Engineering leaders to establish priorities, project scope, and work plans.

• Administer timelines, inter-team dependencies, resource distribution, and risk management.

• Enhance communication among all involved parties and ensure prompt follow-up on project progress.

• Convert functional requirements into technical specifications to facilitate accurate solution implementation.

• Engage in defining technical architectures and assist in integration and implementation processes.

• Track operational metrics and advocate for continuous improvement efforts.

• Record work plans, best practices, and standards for project management.

• Clearly and promptly communicate project progress, risks, outcomes, and retrospectives to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing technical projects directly with software development teams.

• At least 5 years of experience in technology firms, ideally within a SaaS framework.

• Over 3 years of experience leading software development projects with established timelines and delivery schedules.

• Demonstrated expertise in agile methodologies and iterative development processes.

• Experience in managing complex projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.

• Proficient in project management and tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Roadmunk.

• Preferred qualifications include PMP, Scrum Master, or Scaled Agile certifications.

• Experience working collaboratively with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Operations, and Support teams.

• Capable of influencing and leading teams without direct authority.

• Background in large-scale software development organizations.

• Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
