Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee multi-phase software development projects from the design stage to production.

• Establish project scope, requirements, and lifecycle plans leading up to deployment.

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and key milestones.

• Identify critical path decisions and provide recommendations to leadership.

• Manage project resources, hours, costs, and budget comparisons against actuals.

• Formulate risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

• Drive issues to resolution and uphold project standards.

• Ensure clear communication to align vendors, technical teams, and executives.

• Present an approved project plan with defined milestones within the initial 30–60 days.

• Establish consistent budget-to-actual reporting by the third month.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of project management experience in software development or IT initiatives.

• At least 3 years in a technical role that interacts with clients or vendors.

• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects from design and development to production.

• Experience in managing requirements, scope, and budgets, including budget-to-actual tracking.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Project.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to work independently and juggle multiple complex assignments simultaneously.

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in technology or business.

• PMP certification or an equivalent qualification is desirable.

• Experience in business analysis is a plus.

• Familiarity with Jira, Tempo, Confluence, and Smartsheets is advantageous.

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts and distributed workflow processes is beneficial.

• Knowledge of AI/LLM concepts is a plus.
