Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Ensure efficient project delivery that adheres to methodology, scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

• Provide assurance for quality and control on customer engagements while assisting with financial tracking and resource allocation.

• Collaborate with project stakeholders and sponsors to clarify and prioritize project requirements.

• Onboard project teams, define their structure and interactions, facilitate stakeholder meetings, and establish project controls.

• Create and sustain comprehensive project work plans and documentation in line with Project Management Office standards.

• Manage project Risks, Actions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID), along with contingency plans and mitigation strategies.

• Guide project teams and clients in utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Inspire and motivate project teams while recognizing exemplary performance.

• Implement change control processes, enhance communication, document change requests, and secure necessary approvals.

• Generate and communicate project delivery status reports, along with conducting follow-up meetings with customers.

• Foster positive relationships with stakeholders and serve as a trusted partner for customers.

• Enhance standard delivery methodologies, Project Management Office documents, and templates.

• Engage in billable project management roles during customer engagements.

• Participate in regional pre-sales activities, including proposal development and project estimation.

• Lead internal initiatives utilizing project management tools and techniques.

• Assist with delivery acceptance, sales proposal approvals, and the transition from sales to delivery activities.

• Collaborate with the resource coordinator on making resource allocation decisions for ongoing and upcoming projects.

• Assume accountability and ownership for fulfilling assigned customer commitments promptly and with high quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of overall Project Management experience, including a minimum of 4 years of demonstrable experience in Data Integration or Middleware projects.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, managing offshore teams with the end-customer in a different country.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Delivery leadership role.

• Proven strong leadership abilities, ethics, and sound judgment, both independently and as part of a team.

• Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.

• Capable of effective communication and performance under pressure.

• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and both written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Project Management tools, collaboration software, and communication platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.

• Experience in pre-sales, proposal development, and project estimation is required.

• Background in Configuration Management, release management, and deployment is necessary.

• Experience in Application Support and IT operations is beneficial.

• Project Management certification is highly preferred: PgMP, PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or SAFe.

• Knowledge of Middleware products is an advantage.
