Senior Technical Project Manager – Compliance, Certifications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, coordinate, and propel technical compliance, security, and industry certification efforts.

• Direct the compliance roadmap and ensure execution alignment across software development, IT/TechOps, and business operation cycles.

• Organize, monitor, and report on compliance projects in accordance with corporate PMO standards.

• Take ownership of planning, tracking, and conducting annual MRC accreditation, as well as SOC2 Type 1 and Type 2 audits.

• Manage project plans, trackers, document repositories, schedules, and resource planning artifacts using PMO tools such as Asana or Jira.

• Deliver structured progress reports, KPI dashboards, and project health updates encompassing milestones, risks, and obstacles.

• Monitor dependencies and risks, executing formal escalation procedures when milestones are at risk.

• Develop phase-gate plans and critical paths for audit preparedness, dry-runs, evidence lock-down, and evaluation periods.

• Convert compliance controls into technical specifications, user stories, and development tasks.

• Collaborate with Security, TechOps, Data, Engineering, IT, and product teams to weave compliance efforts into development cycles.

• Supervise operational controls to ensure ongoing audit readiness.

• Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors and assessors, including MRC, EY, and SOC2 auditors.

• Manage the collection, formatting, and submission of technical evidence, such as configurations, access logs, and architectural diagrams.

• Lead remediation initiatives for compliance gaps, audit findings, and vulnerability management tasks.

• Coordinate the MRC audit lifecycle, measurement standards, methodology disclosures, Journal of Change, BPQ/client vetting, onboarding/support disclosures, and discrepancy/data reissuance tracking.

• Organize schedules, execution, and readiness milestones for SOC2 Type 1 and Type 2 audits.

• Assist with system monitoring, access control reviews, infrastructure configuration documentation, and compliance automation tools like Vanta and Drata.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Program Manager, or Delivery Manager within a SaaS, Adtech, or software engineering environment.

• Demonstrated experience in managing projects and reporting project health, timelines, and status updates in line with structured PMO frameworks.

• Proven capability to handle fixed-deadline, structured compliance timelines using a milestone/waterfall methodology while integrating execution into Agile engineering teams.

• Practical experience in project management, timeline oversight, evidence collection, or compliance supervision related to SOC2 audits or Media Rating Council (MRC) accreditation.

• Advanced skills in structured project planning and execution tracking using platforms like Asana or Jira.

• Comfort in collaborating with engineering and IT teams.

• Ability to comprehend cloud infrastructure concepts (AWS/GCP), database schemas, and identity/access management frameworks.

• In-depth knowledge of ad-serving technologies, measurement methodologies, and industry measurement standards.

• Experience utilizing compliance automation platforms such as Drata, Vanta, or Secureframe.

• PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or introductory security/compliance certifications are preferred.
