This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the complete delivery process for assigned cross-team programs.
• Convert product and engineering goals into cohesive plans, milestones, and delivery commitments.
• Develop and sustain program roadmaps and dependency maps spanning multiple teams.
• Create and uphold delivery governance, which includes intake, prioritization inputs, definitions of completion, and criteria for release readiness.
• Identify and eliminate blockers, sequence dependencies, and oversee scope and critical paths.
• Monitor program status, assess risks and mitigations; escalate promptly with context and recommended solutions.
• Coordinate cross-team release planning and readiness, which involves periodic evening and occasional weekend release windows.
• Measure and report on delivery metrics, including throughput, cycle time, predictability, dependency aging, and DORA-style signals.
• Foster systemic improvements to recurring delivery challenges and dependency bottlenecks.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools to automate status rollups and highlight risks and dependencies.
• Act as a liaison among Product, Engineering, Quality Engineering, Design, Cloud/Platform, and Security teams.
• Generate clear program updates and executive-ready status communications.
• Lead planning and coordination ceremonies, such as quarterly/PI planning, dependency reviews, release checkpoints, and retrospectives.
• Encourage teams to meet shared commitments through influence rather than direct authority.
• Over 5 years of experience coordinating the delivery of complex, cross-team software programs in an Agile environment or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of managing dependencies, risks, and release coordination among multiple teams simultaneously.
• Proficient in using Linear and Jira.
• Experience in creating delivery metrics and dashboards.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools for program coordination, validating outputs, and ensuring accountability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and facilitation skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Background in SaaS, identity/access, or educational technology is preferred.
• Understanding of scaled Agile practices and delivery/DORA metrics is preferred.
• Working knowledge of SQL or analytics tools such as Looker or Amplitude is preferred.
• Previous experience in software engineering or quality engineering is preferred.
