This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee deliverables and provide updates on extensive and intricate Data Center Infrastructure programs and initiatives.

• Regularly communicate program status, risks, obstacles, and dependencies to senior leadership, external partners, and internal teams.

• Serve as a technical consultant to cross-functional and engineering teams, offering solutions and verifying technical feasibility.

• Manage multiple projects while addressing interdependencies.

• Facilitate stakeholder decisions and eliminate obstacles to resolve customer concerns.

• Direct programs across cross-functional teams, developing processes and coordinating timelines.

• Collaborate with factory-based project managers from the Request for Proposal (RFP) stage through the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase of FWT.

• Oversee RFP timelines, milestones, meetings, document repositories, Requests for Information (RFIs), and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).

• Compile RFP deliverables with the team.

• Provide mentorship to junior project managers as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 8+ years of experience in data center and/or industrial technical program management, encompassing design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, etc.

• Strong grasp of mechanical systems, integration strategies, and system coordination.

• 5+ years of project management experience, including scope determination, scheduling, budgeting, quality assurance, risk and critical path management, cross-functional collaboration, and leading presentations for customers and stakeholders.

• Deep understanding of dependencies and deliverables within the Data Center Infrastructure sector.

• Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies.

• Knowledge of stage-gate processes in project lifecycle management (PLCM).

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficient in presenting information and addressing management, client, and public inquiries.

• Skill in evaluating projects, identifying risks, and formulating project milestones.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%, primarily domestically, with international travel as necessary.

• Master’s Degree is preferred.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations concerning Data Center Infrastructure is preferred.
