This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee intricate and cloud-scale technical security initiatives to align with Guidewire’s business goals
• Develop and guide the execution of the roadmap for essential security functions and programs
• Assess program design, tools, and workflows through the lens of AI
• Spot opportunities for AI and automation to lessen manual tasks and enhance security outcomes
• Advocate for responsible AI integration within the Security team
• Utilize AI-enhanced program management, reporting, and analysis
• Build partnerships and create feedback loops with leaders and stakeholders across the organization
• Lead with data to support metrics-driven decision-making
• Ensure accountability among stakeholders
• Propel strategic transformation and elevate Guidewire’s security maturity
• Engage with executives, engineering leads, consultants, vendors, and various internal and external stakeholders
• Report directly to the Director of Security Customer Success
• Practical security specialist and hands-on technical program manager
• Genuine interest in AI and regular daily use of AI tools
• Up-to-date knowledge of AI capabilities and AI-driven security technologies
• Comprehension of security technologies for cloud products and enterprise settings
• Ability to differentiate between authentic AI value and market hype
• Background in steering security programs within a cloud enterprise
• Proven experience in enhancing processes via automation and AI when advantageous
• Data-oriented and analytical; capable of transforming information into actionable steps
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar relevant technical area
• Over 5 years of experience in documenting processes, security requirements, and managing complex cloud-scale technical security programs for an enterprise organization
• More than 3 years of experience leading IGA, privilege assessment management, Zero Trust, and single sign-on solutions programs
• Familiarity with SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, or equivalent is preferred
• Knowledge of applying the NIST Cyber Security Framework to security program maturity
• Experience in evaluating and overseeing enterprise AI adoption is preferred
• Complete ownership of security across various teams
• Strong business sense along with excellent organizational, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities
