Staff Technical Program Manager – Global Cloud & Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive infrastructure initiatives across various global locations.

• Manage programs that include cloud migrations, data center operations, enhancements in network architecture, server lifecycle management, and modernizing database platforms.

• Establish program objectives, milestones, risks, and success criteria in collaboration with infrastructure experts.

• Develop work breakdown structures, execution strategies, and multi-quarter planning roadmaps.

• Supervise initiatives involving AWS, Azure, GCP, hybrid-cloud, and on-premise data centers.

• Collaborate with cloud engineering teams on migration processes, deployment, and operational readiness.

• Coordinate efforts in network engineering and security, which include firewall setups, VPNs, load balancing, and network monitoring.

• Promote continuous planning and alignment with technology, product development, architecture, and business objectives.

• Take ownership of technical implementation programs and associated workstreams.

• Track execution progress, highlight risks, and facilitate necessary adjustments.

• Engage with stakeholders, deliver updates, ensure transparency, and report on progress in fluent English.

• Assist in migrations and organizational change management.

• Recognize risks related to infrastructure performance, capacity, security, and compliance, and formulate mitigation strategies.

• Oversee dependencies across projects, technologies, and teams.

• Ensure adherence to standard project management tools, preferably within the Atlassian suite, while maintaining data integrity.

• Support Jira management, reporting, and tracking of capitalization.

• Analyze program performance utilizing data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous enhancement.

• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Staff-level experience in managing highly intricate, interdependent projects across various time zones.

• Strong technical knowledge coupled with program management expertise.

• Capability to navigate through uncertainty and provide clarity for cross-functional projects.

• Ability to inspire multi-disciplinary teams, manage complex dependencies, and apply structured delivery methodologies.

• Demonstrated effectiveness in communicating in English with senior stakeholders.

• Proven history of managing enterprise-level migrations and infrastructure transformations within AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.

• Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), containerization/orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and CI/CD deployment pipelines.

• Direct involvement in managing cross-functional programs or projects related to relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).

• Proficiency in identifying technical risks across distributed systems and managing changes while resolving critical-path dependencies at the enterprise level.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner) are preferred.

• Previous experience in the FinTech sector or similarly regulated environments is preferred.

• Familiarity with Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT is advantageous.
