This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Establish clear product goals and technical specifications in collaboration with business and customer stakeholders.
• Participate in the complete lifecycle of professional services projects.
• Evaluate statements of work and offer insights on resource allocation, timelines, and financial plans.
• Create and uphold customer-oriented project management methodologies, such as Waterfall, Scrum, or Kanban.
• Formulate, sustain, and disseminate implementation strategies, project timelines, budget discrepancies, and risk evaluations.
• Organize and lead daily stand-ups, weekly status updates, and various Scrum ceremonies.
• Oversee project financials and resource deployment.
• Collaborate with internal team leaders, phase managers, and external subcontractors to address project challenges impacting quality or client objectives.
• Spot opportunities for further services, such as statements of work, change requests, and support contracts.
• Handle multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery across various workstreams.
• Deliver intricate software and cloud initiatives, including mobile applications, custom mapping tools, data analytics, engineering tasks, and AI/ML solutions.
• Guide customer interactions from project initiation to go-live and continuing support.
• Report directly to the Engineering Lead.
• 5-7+ years of experience in a Technical Program or Project Management capacity, ideally within a professional services or cloud technology setting.
• Profound knowledge of Agile software development practices, particularly Scrum and Kanban, in a dynamic and often remote environment.
• Strong business insight with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects and budgets.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of connecting technical personnel with non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient in Jira, Slack, Monday.com, and Google Workspace.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Computer Science, or a similar field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Professional Project Management certification or Scrum Master Certification is preferred.
• Previous experience in a software engineering position or a related technical field is advantageous.
• Experience leading projects that involve AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
• Ability to read or write code in Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python is preferred.
• Experience in diagnosing and resolving technical issues while assessing product performance metrics is preferred.
