This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and convey the strategic vision, priorities, and advancements of the security program to the wider organization.

• Influence the deployment of new security solutions, managing everything from vendor selection to implementation.

• Oversee the priorities and backlog related to security engineering.

• Lead initiatives in detection & response, corporate security, and product security.

• Interpret security requirements and risks for approximately 70 product engineers at Cape, relaying the product teams' needs back to the security engineers.

• Collaborate with security engineering leadership to outline roadmaps, facilitate program rituals, and resolve cross-team dependencies.

• Establish trust and maintain clear communication with engineering stakeholders throughout the organization.

• Develop metrics that inform company-wide policies and prioritization efforts.

• Spearhead the company SBOM.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience as a TPM or PM within a security team involved in developing in-house tools and systems.

• Strong foundation in the principles of computer engineering.

• Ability to delve into technical specifics with engineers in detection & response, corporate security, and product security.

• Proven experience in defining and articulating technical programs to non-technical audiences.

• Excellent skills in prioritization and backlog management.

• Ability to discern what is most critical.

• Comfort in acting as a reliable technical liaison between specialized teams and a large, distributed engineering workforce.

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States or have relevant US work authorization.
