This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the Technical Project & Product Management team in a player-coach capacity.
• Act as the link between client requirements, delivery execution, and team growth.
• Undertake a portion of billable client work as an active Technical Program Manager, expected to be around 70% billable.
• Report to and collaborate closely with the Head of Product and Project Management Operations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions involving clients and internal stakeholders.
• Define project requirements, draft scope-protecting assumptions, translate needs into actionable scopes of work, and create Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Manage and nurture a small team of Technical Project Managers.
• Conduct team meetings, establish performance expectations, support career advancement, and enhance team capabilities.
• Oversee active client engagements and manage client expectations effectively.
• Create and maintain documentation, templates, job aids, and onboarding resources.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, engineering leads, business operations strategy, and client partners.
• Align delivery methodologies, identify risks early, and resolve cross-functional personnel and process challenges.
• Participate in the recruitment of future technical delivery personnel.
• Oversee onboarding processes for new team members.
• Monitor team capacity and velocity to ensure predictable delivery outcomes.
• Manage product backlogs, including prioritization, refinement, and trade-off decisions regarding scope, timeline, and budget.
• Track engagement budgets, identify scope creep, and report financial risks to leadership.
• Proven experience leading delivery in a consultancy or agency setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Experience in scoping billable work and managing client expectations effectively.
• Proven track record of overseeing the financial performance of client engagements, including tracking budget utilization against actuals and recognizing scope creep.
• Experience in platform and SaaS delivery, including website constructions, migrations, feature development, and implementations on Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce, or similar enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Ability to facilitate client discovery sessions and articulate requirements clearly.
• Proficient in translating business and technical requirements into functional specifications and user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
• Experience in owning and managing product backlogs, encompassing prioritization, refinement, and trade-off decisions.
• Background in both traditional and technical project management.
• Proven experience in monitoring team capacity and velocity.
• Experience in drafting or contributing to client-facing scopes of work.
• Demonstrated people leadership or mentoring experience within a delivery context.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in product ownership, delivery management, or a similar role.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a client-facing consultancy environment.
• Must possess current work authorization for the US or Canada.
