This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Stabilize and enhance SAP TMS, SAP EWM, and SAP ECC/S4 platforms.
• Spearhead the pilot for in-transit visibility and exception management.
• Implement internal applications to replace disjointed and manual logistics processes.
• Evaluate the post-launch state of platforms, identifying issues, workarounds, process gaps, and barriers to adoption.
• Maintain and prioritize backlogs for defects, enhancements, integrations, training, and process maturity.
• Coordinate interfaces and dependencies across systems, including IBP, GTS, enterprise applications, and data sources.
• Develop practices for intake, triage, root-cause analysis, escalation, and resolution.
• Assist with release planning, test strategies, UAT coordination, defect resolution, readiness reviews, and post-deployment stabilization.
• Create process maps, SOPs, role-based training, and knowledge materials.
• Define metrics for platform health, adoption, and value; report status, risks, dependencies, and decisions to leadership.
• Lead business readiness and cross-functional execution for the in-transit dashboard and exception-management pilot.
• Configure and optimize exceptions, agents, alerts, dashboards, and on-demand reporting in collaboration with the platform provider.
• Validate the actionability of alerts, prioritization, and ownership of responses.
• Coordinate testing, issue triage, user feedback, and training; document playbooks and manual backup processes.
• Develop both near-term and long-term capability roadmaps.
• Oversee the discovery, prioritization, and delivery of internal workflow, intake, reporting, and routing-guide applications.
• Draft and maintain BRDs and FSDs with testable acceptance criteria.
• Manage enterprise architecture and solution blueprints, including current and target state views, integration patterns, canonical data models, and interface contracts.
• Maintain technology and innovation roadmaps focusing on automation, AI, and BI opportunities.
• Keep integrated plans, RAID and decision logs, release records, SOPs, and knowledge-transfer materials up to date.
• Establish product and process ownership, support tiers, service expectations, and change-control practices.
• Manage third-party platform providers to ensure deliverables, quality, timelines, and contractual obligations are met.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and sustainable ownership to designated client employees.
• Over 8 years of experience in technical program management, systems implementation, product operations, or business-technology transformation.
• Proven ownership of end-to-end architecture and governance for enterprise platforms.
• Practical experience with SAP TMS, EWM, SAP ECC/S4, and in-transit/exception management platforms.
• Experience in directing data and BI engineers, reviewing architecture decisions, and approving design documents for critical integration components.
• Expertise in managing enterprise application integrations, APIs, data flows, master-data dependencies, and cross-system troubleshooting.
• Experience leading SaaS pilots, platform implementations and enhancements, post-launch stabilization, and vendor/metric performance management.
• Ability to translate operational challenges into structured requirements, process designs, roadmaps, and acceptance criteria.
• Capable of driving adoption across cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Hands-on experience with UAT, release readiness, change management, training, and adoption efforts.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, documentation, and executive reporting skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a setting where processes and ownership models are still evolving.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting global logistics, fulfillment, manufacturing, or new product introduction operations.
• Preferred: Knowledge of SAP TMS (including GTT-based solutions), EWM, IBP, GTS, and control-tower or shipment-visibility/exception platforms utilizing AI agents.
• Preferred: Experience in building internal workflow, intake, reporting, or knowledge-management applications.
• Preferred: Familiarity with data platforms, dashboards, automation, AI-enabled agents, or decision-support tools.
• Preferred: Experience in establishing product governance, support models, operational KPIs, and continuous improvement practices.
