This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Take ownership of specified infrastructure workstreams, milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and deliverables within larger programs.
• Ensure effective day-to-day execution across engineering, operations, vendors, and external collaborators.
• Create and sustain project plans, critical paths, dependencies, RAID documentation, and execution status reports.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineering, Network, DC Operations, Platform, Security, Hardware, and other teams.
• Link engineering execution in Jira to broader infrastructure milestones and delivery commitments.
• Proactively identify blockers and cross-functional dependencies, steering them towards resolution.
• Assist in hardware deployments, network and storage projects, datacenter expansions, migrations, and capacity growth initiatives.
• Cultivate technical expertise across workstreams to comprehend dependencies and challenge delivery assumptions.
• Deliver succinct updates regarding progress, risks, decisions, and mitigation strategies.
• Enhance Infrastructure Delivery processes, tools, documentation, and execution frameworks.
• Gradually assume a wider scope to independently lead comprehensive infrastructure programs.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Technical Program Management, infrastructure program/project management, or a related field.
• Proven track record in leading programs within infrastructure, cloud, platform, SRE, systems, networking, hardware, or datacenter settings.
• Solid understanding of program management principles, including project planning, milestones, critical paths, dependencies, RAID logs, and stakeholder engagement.
• Capability to grasp technical architecture, requirements, and dependencies without direct implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to drive execution across various technical teams without direct authority.
• Proficient in managing details while maintaining an overview of broader program outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills across engineering, operations, vendors, and leadership levels.
• Adaptable to evolving requirements, priorities, ownership, and processes.
• High learning agility and enthusiasm for datacenter and AI infrastructure.
• Experience in supporting compute, network, storage, cloud infrastructure, hardware deployment, or capacity expansion initiatives.
• Familiarity with hardware vendors, colocation providers, VARs, or external partners.
• Experience coordinating programs using Smartsheet.
• Experience managing engineering execution through Jira.
• Knowledge of infrastructure capacity planning or hardware lifecycle management.
• Exposure to GPU infrastructure, AI/ML infrastructure, HPC, or distributed systems.
• Background in a startup, high-growth company, or similarly dynamic technical environment.
