This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee long-term IT projects and ensure completion within budget and scheduled timeframes
• Formulate and execute comprehensive IT roadmaps and strategies
• Track the alignment of tactical initiatives
• Provide a holistic enterprise perspective on activities and their effects on information-sharing projects
• Conduct risk management, which includes identifying, prioritizing, mitigating, communicating, and escalating risks and issues
• Manage projects of various types, sizes, complexities, life-cycle phases, and development methodologies such as SCRUM and spiral
• Assist in the creation of briefings, agendas, documentation, training materials, and technology demonstrations for DHS stakeholders
• Promote continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to products, services, and processes
• Create communication strategies
• Develop and oversee project timelines, including integrated schedules, utilizing Microsoft Project and JIRA
• Ensure project management aligns with government-defined timelines, budgets, and specifications
• Guarantee the delivery of Agile development artifacts, including sprint, product, and release backlogs, burndowns/ups, team velocity, and RTM
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
• At least 7 years of pertinent experience in information systems development and/or project management, encompassing the management of projects from inception to deployment
• Proven experience in leading a team of technical professionals
• Must be a U.S. citizen to satisfy contract obligations
• Capability to successfully undergo a DHS background investigation
• Willingness to travel to the customer site as required
• Offer is dependent upon the award of contract to ASRC Federal NetCentric
• Option for remote work
• Flexibility to travel to the customer site as needed
