Senior Technical Program Manager – Agentic AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and manage the integrated programme plan across various workstreams, including milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and acceptance activities.

• Propel delivery by identifying risks, eliminating obstacles, and escalating issues as necessary.

• Cultivate relationships with client stakeholders at business, technology, and executive levels.

• Serve as the primary coordination point between the client, Avenga leadership, and multidisciplinary delivery teams.

• Prepare and deliver programme reports detailing progress, risks, financials, and key decisions.

• Lead governance meetings, steering committees, programme reviews, workshops, and executive presentations.

• Coordinate the efforts of developers, business analysts, architects, QA, security specialists, and workstream leads.

• Oversee the Agentic AI use-case delivery lifecycle from discovery and value definition to design, development, evaluation, pilot, release, and monitoring.

• Ensure that requirements, acceptance criteria, deliverables, and approvals are well-defined and traceable.

• Manage RAID, action items, decisions, dependencies, and change management processes.

• Supervise programme budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation in collaboration with Finance, Resource Management, and Account Leadership.

• Assist Sales and Account teams with opportunities, proposals, estimates, and follow-up work.

• Ensure that commercial commitments align with delivery capacity.

• Maintain plans, documentation, reporting, and delivery status using tools like Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.

• Encourage accountability, proactive communication, early escalation, and continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in project, programme, or delivery management within complex software, data, cloud, or digital transformation environments.

• Demonstrated experience leading intricate enterprise AI, Generative AI, or Agentic AI programmes with multiple stakeholders and concurrent workstreams.

• Practical knowledge of the Agentic AI delivery lifecycle, including agent orchestration, tool and system integration, human-in-the-loop controls, evaluation, and monitoring.

• Extensive experience collaborating with multidisciplinary technical teams, including developers, business analysts, architects, QA, and security specialists.

• Proven success in building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and serving as a dependable delivery partner.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities, with confidence in presenting to senior management and C-level audiences.

• Capability to translate intricate technical subjects into clear business and executive-level communications.

• Strong expertise in programme planning, risk, issue, dependency, scope, change, resource, budget, and acceptance management.

• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and other project planning or reporting tools.

• Experience collaborating with Sales and Account Management teams on proposals, estimates, Statements of Work, and change requests.

• Strong sense of ownership, a proactive attitude, and the ability to keep delivery on track in ambiguous and complex environments.

• Professional fluency in English.

• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Agent 365, or similar enterprise AI platforms.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with AI integrations in enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, identity, and security services.

• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of Responsible AI, AI governance, security, data protection, and relevant regulatory requirements.

• Nice-to-have: Background in consulting or professional services.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with fixed-price or deliverable-based engagements and formal change control.

• Nice-to-have: Certifications such as PMP, CPMAI, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum.
