This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee technical project and program management for significant, cross-functional Security initiatives
• Assist in managing several Enterprise Security projects and report on the progress of planned execution
• Provide operational assistance to engineering leads to ensure timely delivery of projects and initiatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to outline and complete cross-functional projects within deadlines
• Update on the current status of enterprise security and compliance efforts
• Aid in the planning and execution of roadmaps, releases, and work backlogs
• Support security audits to mitigate risk and fulfill compliance standards
• Enhance measurable KPIs and related processes within the Security team
• Integrate AI technologies and innovative methodologies to scale processes and enhance visibility
• Develop and contribute to a program management community of practice
• Advocate for Samsara’s cultural principles as the company expands globally and opens new offices
• 1-3 years of experience in Project or Program Management within a dynamic, technical environment
• Proven experience in managing priorities across multiple teams, establishing processes, and coordinating tight schedules
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Capability to convey technical or analytical information to non-technical partners without losing critical details
• Strong sense of ownership, collaboration, curiosity, and meticulous attention to detail
• Quick learner with the ability to navigate through ambiguity
• Proactive self-starter with a demonstrated history of utilizing data and technology to enhance processes and facilitate impactful decisions
• Familiarity with AI tools and methods to optimize workflows and team processes
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, and other reporting tools
• Background in Information Security and/or Compliance programs
• Experience in driving strategic planning and defining roadmaps
• Enthusiasm for data and improving operational efficiencies
• Ability to learn and implement new technologies, including AI
