This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the comprehensive planning and execution of enterprise security initiatives, which encompass vulnerability management, incident response readiness, identity and access management, data protection, and cloud security.
• Convey technical security concepts and the status of programs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Create and sustain program plans, schedules, budgets, and resource distributions across multiple security initiatives concurrently.
• Identify, monitor, and alleviate program risks and dependencies; escalate obstacles with potential solutions and recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, legal teams, and third-party vendors to ensure timely implementation of security controls.
• Set and report on program objectives, dashboards, and status updates for executive and board-level stakeholders.
• Oversee the intake, prioritization, and monitoring of security findings, vulnerabilities, and remediation activities.
• Assist in coordinating incident response, conducting post-incident reviews, and tracking follow-up actions.
• Enhance security program management processes, tools, and governance frameworks.
• Promote transparency and trust, adopt a lean value-driven methodology, manage by influence, and empower technical teams through servant leadership.
• Engage with fellow TPMs in ongoing cross-functional process improvement endeavors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Over 8 years of technical program management experience, including at least 3 years managing security-centric programs.
• Strong comprehension of vulnerability management, threat modeling, identity and access management, network security, cloud security, and incident response.
• Familiarity with standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, HIPAA, or FedRAMP.
• Relevant security certifications, including CISSP, CISM, PMP, PgMP, CRISC, or CCSP.
• Cloud security certifications like AWS Certified Security – Specialty or Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate.
• Capability to adapt agile management principles to diverse development environments.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple complex, cross-functional programs concurrently in a dynamic setting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in translating technical risks into business impacts for executives.
• Strong analytical and risk-assessment capabilities, with experience utilizing program management and ticketing tools.
• Ability to establish trust and influence without direct authority across engineering, legal, and executive teams.
• Keen attention to detail, sound judgment under pressure, and comfort in navigating ambiguity during active incidents.
• Experience with Atlassian and Google product suites is advantageous.
