This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of end-to-end program management for embedded software initiatives, including device drivers, firmware, boot-loaders, and board support packages for EnCharge accelerators.
• Develop and sustain integrated program schedules that align with chip tape-out, silicon bring-up, board bring-up, and customer/OEM delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with embedded software, ASIC/hardware, platform, and validation teams to outline scope, sequence dependencies, and monitor execution progress.
• Identify, monitor, and facilitate the resolution of risks and blockers that span multiple teams.
• Lead silicon bring-up and platform enablement efforts, including early firmware, boot flows, device initialization, memory management, command submission, interrupts, power management, and hardware/software integration.
• Conduct planning sessions, standups, milestone reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure effective execution across geographically distributed engineering teams and external partners as required.
• Contribute to the development of the program management function, encompassing processes, tools, and reporting.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical program or project management, with a significant focus on embedded software, drivers, firmware, or low-level systems software.
• Proven experience in coordinating software programs that are closely integrated with hardware, such as silicon or board bring-up.
• Ideally, a background in AI/ML accelerators, semiconductors, robotics, or a similar hardware-software domain.
• Familiarity with Linux kernel driver development processes, JTAG/lab-based debugging workflows, or hardware validation methodologies.
• Experience with FPGA simulation and emulator environments, including Zebu, Veloce, or Palladium.
• In-depth understanding of embedded firmware, device drivers, SoC/accelerator architecture, memory and DMA, interrupts and command queues, boot and initialization, hardware/software interfaces, and performance/system-level debugging.
• Proven track record in managing intricate, multi-team schedules with firm external dependencies.
• Strong instincts for risk management.
