πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee the daily execution and implementation of the cutting-edge Data Lakehouse platform for Department of War cyber operators.

β€’ Collaborate with Application, Data, and Infrastructure engineering teams to transform the prioritized roadmap into delivered, deployed, and accredited software.

β€’ Manage the release train comprehensively, including cross-team dependencies, schedules, risks, communications, and delivery cadence.

β€’ Lead monthly sprints and quarterly releases; convert the roadmap into milestone-oriented delivery plans.

β€’ Translate roadmap priorities into sprint-ready backlog items with clear acceptance criteria; handle intake and feature validation.

β€’ Coordinate the code-complete-to-deployment release processes, integration testing, and go/no-go readiness evaluations.

β€’ Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies to reduce schedule delays.

β€’ Maintain risk registers and facilitate resolution escalations for schedule, technical, and security-related risks.

β€’ Monitor program budgets, burn rates, and forecasts.

β€’ Guide security artifacts through customer scanning and RMF/ATO authorization processes.

β€’ Set up reporting mechanisms, release notes, and synchronization cadences for both engineering and government stakeholders.

β€’ Lead technical tradeoff discussions pertaining to Lakehouse, Kubernetes, and IAM architecture.

β€’ Act as a representative of the platform to cyber stakeholders through release announcements and live demonstrations.

β€’ Support proposals with detailed delivery plans and technical contributions.

β€’ Manage support and community-request triage while enhancing release processes.

β€’ Define metrics for predictability, cycle time, and defect rates to foster continuous delivery.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Must acquire and maintain a Secret level U.S. Government Security Clearance; clearance is not mandatory on the first day.

β€’ U.S. Citizenship is a requirement.

β€’ 8+ years of experience in DoW cyber, agile software development, and/or big data, holding a B.A. in Business, a technical field, or related; or 6 years of relevant experience with a Master's in a related discipline; or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years of relevant experience.

β€’ 5+ years of experience in roles such as Technical Program Manager, Program Manager, Delivery Lead, or equivalent, with a focus on driving software delivery in an Agile development environment.

β€’ Proven track record of successfully driving complex, multi-team software programs to fruition.

β€’ Capability to lead through influence rather than direct authority.

β€’ Knowledge of contemporary data architectures, including data lakes, data lakehouses, data warehousing, and big data technologies.

β€’ Ability to collaborate effectively with DoW or other Federal Government clients, including procurement and accreditation processes.

β€’ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

β€’ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

β€’ Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.

β€’ Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 10% CONUS and OCONUS.

β€’ Ability to work from a home office located within the U.S.; flexibility to adjust to schedule changes is essential.

β€’ Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is desirable.

β€’ DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications may be required as specified by the customer.

β€’ Program/project management or agile certifications are highly preferred.

β€’ Experience in the cybersecurity domain is advantageous.

β€’ Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, AWS/Azure data services, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps-based deployment is a plus.

β€’ Experience with RMF/ATO, container hardening, or vulnerability-scanning pipelines is preferred.

β€’ Experience in establishing TPM functions, backlog refinement, acceptance-criteria validation, customer-facing technical roles, program financial management, proposal development, and cybersecurity data lifecycles is preferred.
