Technical Program Manager – Data Center Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the coordination of deliverables and provide reports on extensive and intricate Data Center Infrastructure Programs.

• Engage in contingency planning and resolve issues as they arise.

• Comprehend and convey the program's vision and roadmap effectively.

• Identify synergies and opportunities across products and programs to streamline or align efforts among teams.

• Deliver regular updates to senior management, external partners, and internal teams regarding program status, risks, obstacles, and dependencies.

• Facilitate scalability through shared insights and mechanisms.

• Serve as a technical consultant to engineering teams, propose solutions, and ensure technical viability.

• Act as the client's representative within the organization, addressing customer needs and concerns.

• Manage multiple projects while reconciling interdependencies.

• Propel stakeholder decisions and remove barriers to resolve client issues.

• Establish KPIs and set SLAs for multi-million-dollar ventures.

• Oversee programs across cross-functional teams, develop processes, and coordinate timelines.

• Supervise NPI project activities to ensure timely achievement of program objectives.

• Collaborate with factory-based project managers from the RFP stage through NPI completion of FWT.

• Manage RFP timelines, milestones, meetings, document repositories, RFIs, ECNs, and RFP deliverables.

• Provide strategic direction to project managers.

• Collaborate with site-based project managers to devise and execute program strategies.

• Suggest R&D project initiatives with the manager to enhance competency areas.

• Undertake additional assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience encompassing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics, quantitative analysis, communication, and presentation.

• Proficient in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Competence in presenting information and responding to inquiries from management, clients, and the public.

• Ability to influence others and disseminate best practices.

• Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a global team.

• Skillful in assessing projects, articulating risks, and developing project milestones.

• Familiar with stage-gate processes in project lifecycle management.

• Ability to mentor junior project managers.

• A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in datacenter and/or industrial technical program management related to design, engineering, manufacturing, or testing.

• Strong comprehension of mechanical systems, integration strategy, and system coordination.

• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to Data Center Infrastructure is preferred.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
