This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Lead the complete outcomes and delivery for significant initiatives within and across Technology Departments.
• Empower teams and partners to strategize, mitigate risks, and implement essential initiatives.
• Provide updates on progress, coordinate with technology teams, and maintain project financial stability.
• Drive ongoing planning and alignment with business objectives across various portfolios.
• Manage technical implementation programs and workstreams that enhance internal tools for WEX employees.
• Develop work breakdown structures, milestones, risk assessments, success metrics, and deliverables.
• Implement multi-quarter roadmaps in collaboration with engineering leadership.
• Track progress, identify execution risks, and facilitate necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with Technology, Product, Solution Architecture, and other stakeholders to deliver updates and address issues.
• Recognize risks, formulate mitigation plans, monitor program risks, and escalate as needed.
• Identify, document, and manage dependencies across projects, technologies, and teams.
• Ensure the application of standard project management tools and uphold data integrity.
• Support Jira stewardship, transparent reporting, and accurate capitalization.
• Measure program performance against plans and objectives using data and metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree in technical/information science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in technical program management overseeing intricate, high-visibility projects with interrelated work.
• Proven track record in executing complex, cross-functional initiatives and enterprise-wide projects.
• Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with hands-on experience in various phases.
• Capability to collaborate with product, engineering, security, database administration, and architecture teams.
• Detailed experience with internal organizational tools such as email, chat, work management, project management, product ideation, CI/CD, and workspace management.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud infrastructure technologies and processes.
• Experience in leading highly technical transformation initiatives.
• Proven expertise in at least one Agile methodology, such as Scrum.
• Proactive leadership skills with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to foresee and mitigate risks and tackle complex problems.
• Analytical mindset with robust decision-making skills.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or Agile Certified Practitioner are preferred.
• Previous experience in FinTech or highly regulated environments is preferred.
• Practical familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Google Drive, and similar tools is preferred.
