This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take ownership of the complete program execution for significant cross-functional initiatives, spanning from kickoff and scoping to launch and retrospective.
β’ Develop and sustain program plans that outline dependencies among engineering, product, design, and data teams.
β’ Lead planning cycles, daily standups, reviews, and ensure launch readiness.
β’ Identify, escalate, and resolve risks and obstacles; proactively assist teams in overcoming challenges and re-sequence work as priorities change.
β’ Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear updates to leadership.
β’ Create and implement streamlined, scalable processes for planning, prioritization, and delivery.
β’ Maintain a centralized source of truth for program status, dependencies, and key decisions.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in technical program management, engineering program management, or a similar role within a software or technology company.
β’ A technical background that allows for the reading of system design documents, participation in architectural discussions, and the ability to engage credibly with engineers.
β’ A proven history of delivering complex, cross-functional software programs on schedule, involving multiple teams with competing priorities.
β’ Exceptional skills in organization and communication.
β’ Ability to navigate ambiguity and act swiftly in a rapidly growing startup environment.
β’ Strong judgment skills regarding prioritization and risk management.
β’ Familiarity with modern delivery tools such as GitHub, Linear/Jira, and Notion.
β’ Previous experience as an engineer or possession of a CS/technical degree is a significant advantage.
β’ Experience in AI/ML, data platforms, or B2B SaaS products is desirable.
β’ Knowledge of the insurance, fintech, or enterprise software sectors is a plus.
β’ Experience establishing program management practices in an early-stage or growth-stage company is a bonus.
