Technical Program Manager II – Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Serve as a liaison between operational teams, internal engineering resources, and external tool providers to develop, enhance, and oversee internal tooling solutions.

• Manage a technical roadmap for internal tooling projects, which includes prioritization, resource allocation, and requirement gathering.

• Foster and maintain relationships with both internal and external partners.

• Create communication strategies, coordinate with stakeholders, monitor progress, identify potential risks, oversee frameworks and governance structures, and implement solutions to ensure successful execution.

• Identify and implement process enhancements, automation opportunities, and operational efficiencies using innovative solutions and industry best practices.

• Evaluate business processes, performance metrics, and operational data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Lead operational and technical goal-setting processes.

• Establish mechanisms for tracking status and communicate updates, risks, and priorities throughout the organization.

• Work effectively with minimal daily supervision in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

• Perform any additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a technology-related field is preferred.

• At least five (5) years of professional experience in Program Management, particularly in Operations or Technology use cases.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in leading intricate cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across various business functions.

• Experience in managing programs and projects that involve executive stakeholders and organizational priorities.

• Proven track record of driving operational excellence, business process enhancements, governance, and change management initiatives.

• Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.

• Demonstrated capability to influence outcomes without direct authority and promote accountability among teams.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.

• Exceptional organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing business needs.

• Experience in creating executive communications, dashboards, status reports, and performance metrics.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other productivity tools.

• Ability to work independently in ambiguous settings while maintaining a strong focus on detail and execution excellence.

• PMP certification or a related project/program management certification is preferred.

• Experience in the payments, financial services, money movement, card processing, or ACH industry is preferred.

• Familiarity with coding languages, technical systems, software development concepts, or data analytics tools is preferred.

• Experience in supporting feature launches, operational readiness programs, or PMO organizations is preferred.

• Experience in mentoring team members and advocating for program management best practices is preferred.

• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting financial services or payment-processing environments is preferred.

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
