This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Plan and execute projects by grasping the scope, cost, and timeline.

• Monitor project advancement and relay status, risks, and modifications.

• Define product vision and maintain a backlog in collaboration with clients.

• Support clients in fulfilling the Product Owner responsibilities.

• Conduct thorough requirements gathering and analysis.

• Document requirements as Features and User Stories.

• Develop delivery plans with teams and clients to meet project goals and deliver business value.

• Create technology roadmaps for clients in partnership with technology teams.

• Work with architects and engineers to assess technical feasibility.

• Articulate technology concepts to clients, fostering trust and confidence.

• Collaborate with delivery teams to implement established plans.

• Convey technical and business requirements to delivery teams.

• Partner with senior delivery team members to address complex challenges.

• Utilize custom software development principles and best practices.

• Provide transparent communication regarding project status, risks, and changes.

• Advocate for agile software development methodologies.

• Directly manage project delivery in conjunction with clients.

• Tailor agile practices to align with clients' agile maturity levels and enhance them over time.

• Ensure backlog health and proactively communicate any deviations from expected value delivery.

• Serve as a servant leader for the delivery team.

• Collaborate with clients and teams on data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, and modern data solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in leading requirements gathering and delivery for data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence projects.

• More than 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst on intricate data engineering projects.

• Proven record of delivering data engineering projects on contemporary cloud data platforms.

• Familiarity with data warehousing, medallion architecture, Power BI, master data management, and data governance.

• Experience in creating cost estimates for project components or entire projects.

• Strong skills in technical writing, verbal communication, and presentation.

• Experience in bridging the gap between agile development teams and users to define requirements, conduct business analysis, and drive delivery.

• Familiarity with AI tools in product development, delivery, or project management.

• High-level understanding of websites, web applications, APIs, databases, and cloud technologies.

• Strong technical background that enables credible leadership to development teams and evaluation of complex project risks and issues.

• Experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.

• In-depth knowledge of Agile principles and software development life cycle models.

• Proficiency with agile work organization tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello, Basecamp, or Rally.

• Proven success in implementing custom web application projects using Agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with traditional project management concepts.

• Experience in managing scope, schedule, budget, and risks.

• Willingness to accommodate occasional travel to client locations.

• Preferred: Industry-recognized Agile certification such as PMI-ACP, CSM, CSPO, PAL, or SAFe.

• Preferred: Industry-recognized project management certification, such as PMP or equivalent.

• Preferred: Microsoft Azure certifications, including AZ-900, DP-900, or AI-900.

• Experience with .NET, SQL Server, Azure, React, Angular, or Vue.js is preferred.

• Must pass a criminal background check prior to employment.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship requirements will be addressed during the application process.
