• Report to a VP of Product while working in close collaboration with engineering leadership, architects, security teams, product teams, and internal platform users.

• Convert the VP’s strategic vision into a prioritized backlog of issues, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Maintain a “thin-sliced” approach to work, enabling the team to ship frequently, learn rapidly, and mitigate risk through iterative processes.

• Utilize hands-on DevOps experience and knowledge of practical workflows to pinpoint friction points, identify gaps, and discover opportunities for differentiation.

• Convey ideas clearly and confidently to stakeholders to test concepts and confirm assumptions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong product intuition to transform complex problems into clear scopes and deliverable value—without the need for complete information.

• Systems thinking: Ability to analyze complex distributed systems, architectural trade-offs, and the long-term evolution of platforms.

• Prioritization: Proven capability to weigh customer demands, engineering limitations, and platform investments when making prioritization choices.

• Profound curiosity and technical proficiency in cloud fundamentals (cost/billing concepts, identity/IAM, networking, compute, Kubernetes, observability, automation) with experience in developing solutions that utilize or emphasize these technologies.

• Coding experience is advantageous—enough to work effectively with engineers, assess feasibility, and comprehend system behaviors.

• Exceptional communication skills: capable of simplifying complex ideas, facilitating alignment, and confidently interacting with customers and specialists.

• A proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement: you ship, measure, learn, and iterate, creating capabilities that serve as significant competitive advantages.
