This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Collaborate closely with product management teams to establish a strategic direction for development requirements.
• Articulate the product vision to build and/or operations teams.
• Guide teams with precise and detailed requirements.
• Balance the development of new features, address defects, and manage technical debt.
• Incorporate insights from Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Product Owners, Developers, UX, Architecture, and engineering teams.
• Collect voice-of-customer requirements and product feedback.
• Deliver features and complex products through cross-functional teams.
• Conduct interviews with customers and stakeholders and develop personas.
• Align the interests of customers, product managers, and engineering teams.
• Oversee release and sprint backlogs, along with short-term MVP and quarterly-release roadmaps.
• Organize and prioritize the backlog to ensure 1–2 sprints/iterations are prepared.
• Engage with development teams roughly 50% of the time to facilitate discussions, clarify requirements, accept and refine stories, test, validate, and contribute to design decisions.
• Convert ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units.
• Diagnose production issues through iterative testing and data analysis.
• Provide monthly status updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Development Leadership to support a robust development process.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Offer technical leadership to TPMs throughout the organization.
• Coach others in Agile methodologies.
• Utilize AI and emerging digital tools to enhance insight generation, improve decision-making, and expedite value realization.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with at least 5 years of professional experience, or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience, or a High School Diploma with at least 10 years of professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Technical Product Management.
• Military experience can be considered equivalent to professional experience.
• Strong understanding of software design and coding principles.
• Experience in an Agile work environment.
• Familiarity with diverse implementation strategies.
• Knowledge of caching, APIs, data transfer, scalability, and security.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational database principles.
• Awareness of the competitive landscape.
• Understanding of market technologies for buy-vs-build evaluations, MVP scoping, and market timing decisions.
• Must have U.S. Person status for access to U.S. export-controlled information: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or granted asylee/refugee status.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
• Ability to work remotely, with preference given to candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone.
