This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Lead the discovery process for designated initiatives by collaborating with business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Define the scope of problems, identify underlying causes, evaluate potential solutions, and set requirements boundaries.
• Analyze system behavior through code reviews, database queries, and API interactions.
• Convert business and operational requirements into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, data flow diagrams, process flows, and integration specifications.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to create requirement artifacts and confirm their technical precision, adherence to business rules, completeness, and handling of edge cases.
• Sustain the pod's domain knowledge repository for AI agents and engineering teams.
• Manage and oversee the product backlog, encompassing features, enhancements, and technical sustainability tasks.
• Collaborate with Product Management on roadmap objectives and assess technical feasibility.
• Work alongside senior engineers and architecture teams on integrations, dependencies, and solution design.
• Facilitate refinement, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective ceremonies.
• Validate user story delivery through functional assessments, acceptance-criteria verification, and examination of pull requests and implementation code.
• Uphold and enforce a definition of done that encompasses behavioral and implementation standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
• Over 3 years of experience in technical product ownership, solutions analysis, or software engineering within an Agile software environment.
• Capability to read and understand application code, evaluate architectural strategies, and independently assess technical feasibility.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, relational database design, data modeling, and web application architecture.
• Proficiency in T-SQL or a comparable language.
• Experience in crafting user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements documentation.
• Working knowledge of AI-assisted requirements tools, including prompt design, output assessment, and domain knowledge base management.
• Proficient in Jira and Confluence; experience with diagramming tools such as Draw.io, Lucidchart, or similar.
• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement along with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and self-motivated.
• Innovative problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S.
• Preferred familiarity with C#, .NET, Entity Framework, React, Angular, Microsoft SQL Server, Git, Bitbucket, Postman, or Swagger.
