Technical Product Manager III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Lead the product strategy, PRDs, vendor selection, and roadmap for the Vendor Integration team.

• Guide vendors from the initial discussion to production, encompassing API reviews, managing open questions, controlling scope and schedules, fostering pilot-client relationships, overseeing UAT, and executing go-live processes.

• Develop PRDs and contextual documents that address vendor needs, identify gaps, outline technical debt, document decisions, and highlight open questions.

• Conduct readiness assessments and decompose epics into manageable, testable stories for QA.

• Analyze the .NET backend and Angular frontend to gain insights into existing integrations, pinpoint reusable components, and estimate workload.

• Occasionally implement minor changes directly on a branch when it proves quicker than ticket creation.

• Collaborate with teams focused on authentication, banking core, account opening, lending, and PFM.

• Draft product feature specifications, vendor implementation manuals, client testing guides, and quarterly release documentation.

• Create initial Figma designs and HTML prototypes.

• Develop and sustain AI agent capabilities, structured team knowledge repositories, and PM tools.

• Prioritize tasks alongside the Tech Lead, align roadmaps with client contracts and vendor certification schedules, facilitate sprint planning and backlog refinement, and manage the Jira board.

• Oversee integrations related to payments, cards, data and identity, documents and imaging, as well as future vendor integrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a product manager in a B2B platform environment.

• At least 2 years of experience focused on integrations, payments, or fintech infrastructure.

• Successfully delivered at least one end-to-end third-party integration, covering vendor assessment, requirements gathering, certification, pilot phases, and production rollout.

• Strong writing skills; writing sample is a prerequisite.

• Proven experience managing vendor relationships where the vendor's processes dictated the timeline.

• Proficiency in reading C# and TypeScript to trace code paths, identify gaps, and estimate modifications.

• Comfortable using Git, including branches, rebasing, diffs, cherry-picks, and initiating pull requests.

• Practical knowledge of OAuth client credentials, token exchange (RFC 8693), SAML, JWKS, signed URLs, and iframe postMessage.

• Capable of deriving requirements from OpenAPI specifications or Postman collections.

• Familiarity with PCI scope.

• Understanding of fintech products that integrate with banks, especially regarding core and vendor data ownership.

• Knowledge of credit union and community bank client profiles.

• Documents decisions with accompanying rationales.

• Delivers first drafts promptly and is open to iterations.

• Regularly utilizes AI tools and can showcase a built workflow leveraging them.

• Available to work standard business hours in alignment with Eastern Time.
