Technical Product Manager – Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and implement the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for enabled solutions.

• Specify the objectives and rationale for the platform's development and identify the business and user challenges it will address.

• Establish and monitor product OKRs and KPIs, motivating the team to reach these targets.

• Generate enthusiasm and awareness for the platform within enterprise teams through go-to-market strategies.

• Work in tandem with engineering and data science teams to create, validate, and demonstrate POCs and prototypes.

• Convert business challenges into well-defined product requirements and user stories.

• Relay product strategy, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and essential stakeholders.

• Ensure that products comply with BFS regulatory, compliance, and risk considerations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of Product Management experience in technology or enterprise settings.

• Experience in the insurance industry is essential.

• Proficiency in Tableau.

• Intermediate skills in Power BI, including dashboards, workspaces, publishing, and basic DAX.

• Familiarity with AI/ML, advanced analytics, or data products, as well as cloud-based solutions.

• Strong Business Analyst capabilities: gathering requirements, documentation, stakeholder management, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent executive and technical communication skills, with the ability to influence both business and technical stakeholders.

• Proven track record of guiding products or solutions from inception to completion in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

• An MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
