This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Implement the Data Product Marketplace and enterprise catalog for Defense & Systems Data Fabric.
• Oversee, facilitate, and track data products from initial intake to their usability within the fabric.
• Manage the marketplace and catalog feature backlog, which includes search and discovery, data product previews, and self-service access workflows.
• Prioritize and sequence the backlog based on adoption impact and align it with the enterprise roadmap.
• Ensure catalog completeness and maintain the currency of data passports as products are published, updated, or retired.
• Oversee the onboarding and certification intake processes for data products alongside Data Product Owners.
• Collaborate with owners to define product specifications, including SLAs, uptime targets, health scores, and key data elements.
• Work with the Principal Data Architect to finalize certification and onboarding decisions within the established SLA.
• Validate design and integration patterns prior to planning and scheduling integration work.
• Conduct user research and journey mapping with data consumers to eliminate barriers to adoption.
• Monitor and report on active users, adoption rates, time-to-access, and catalog completeness.
• Present adoption results to the Sr Principal Technical Product Manager for executive value realization reporting.
• Guide data product owners across various P&Ls without having formal authority.
• Collaborate with federated Data Quality Analysts to validate specifications and ensure SLA alignment by domain.
• Inform P&L Data Stewards and Solution Architects in advance of any process or standard modifications.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with at least 5 years of professional experience, OR an Associate's degree with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience, OR a High School Diploma with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Data Product Management & Data Marketplace Operations or IT.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; GE Aerospace will not sponsor individuals for employment visas.
• Ability to demonstrate U.S. Person status for access to U.S. export-controlled information: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or granted asylee or refugee status.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business (STEM or technical major preferred).
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager certification.
• Experience with data quality or frameworks for data product SLAs and health scores.
• Familiarity with data cataloging and self-service access tools.
• Working knowledge of APIs and patterns for self-service data access.
• Proven ability to manage onboarding and intake processes across various stakeholder groups.
• Analytical skills to define, instrument, and monitor adoption and usage metrics.
• Comfort operating within the standards established by the Principal Data Architect and Sr Principal Technical Product Manager.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, or other regulated industries.
