This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Define and guide the strategy for platform products to align with enterprise priorities, business goals, and technological direction.
• Establish and convey the platform vision, roadmap, sequencing, and long-term evolution plans.
• Conduct discovery initiatives to uncover customer needs, stakeholder priorities, operational challenges, platform opportunities, and intended business outcomes.
• Define and manage platform OKRs, KPIs, adoption metrics, and success indicators.
• Ensure that platform investment priorities support scalable, reusable, secure, and high-quality enterprise capabilities in collaboration with Architecture and Engineering.
• Assess platform performance and consistently enhance business value, operational effectiveness, and technical results.
• Oversee the intake and evaluation of platform requests from product teams, business stakeholders, and technology partners.
• Establish frameworks for prioritization, governance for demand, and investment guidelines.
• Manage and prioritize the platform backlog, defining desired outcomes and success metrics.
• Lead complex prioritization and trade-off decisions among competing initiatives, dependencies, risks, and resource limitations.
• Collaborate with Tech Development Managers and Engineering Leads on effort estimation, capacity, delivery feasibility, and sequencing.
• Engage in sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, readiness reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Work alongside Engineering, Architecture, Security, Operations, Compliance, and Product leadership to ensure platform scalability, reliability, performance, and technical integrity.
• Prioritize and advocate for platform health initiatives, including resiliency, observability, reliability, lifecycle management, maintenance, and reduction of technical debt.
• Track and report on platform outcomes and service health metrics.
• Monitor risks, dependencies, delivery challenges, and operational issues, driving mitigation, prioritization, or escalation as necessary.
• Coordinate the resolution of cross-functional platform dependencies across systems, data, integrations, vendors, releases, and service operations.
• Align stakeholders from business, product, engineering, architecture, operations, and technology teams.
• Act as the primary contact for platform strategy, roadmap, priorities, product decisions, adoption, and value outcomes.
• Communicate the platform strategy, progress on the roadmap, adoption metrics, service health, and value realization outcomes.
• Advocate for platform adoption and best practices throughout the organization.
• Establish and continually enhance product management frameworks, standards, and processes.
• Drive improvements in demand intake, prioritization, governance, backlog management, and performance reporting.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing platform scalability, efficiency, automation, data quality, and operational excellence.
• Support the maturity of the enterprise product operating model and platform transformation initiatives.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other product professionals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Travel as necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in technical product management, platform product management, product strategy, requirements intake, technology delivery, or a shared services/platform role.
• Strong preference for experience with agile development and engineering, architecture, operations, production support, or platform reliability.
• Comprehensive knowledge of platform product strategy, technical product management, and product lifecycle management.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, backlog management, user story development, and requirements management.
• Solid understanding of enterprise platforms, system integrations, architectural concepts, and technology delivery.
• Familiarity with platform reliability, operational support, observability, security, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Advanced capabilities in backlog prioritization, governance, and demand management.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management, negotiation, influence, and facilitation.
• Ability to balance customer needs, business outcomes, operational requirements, and technical constraints.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with the capacity to evaluate data, risks, trade-offs, and platform performance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and align stakeholders across various business and technology domains.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• Knowledge of product operating models, platform-centric delivery, and outcome-based management approaches.
