Technical Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the vision and lifecycle for the product portfolio.

• Assess opportunities and prioritize them based on customer value, business impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment.

• Collaborate with Engineering on the design of scalable and secure products and APIs.

• Manage the developer-facing product interface, which includes semantics, error handling, webhooks, and documentation.

• Create prototypes and proof-of-concepts to mitigate risks associated with new ideas.

• Leverage AI tools for discovery, research, specification development, and quick prototyping.

• Coordinate launches alongside GTM, Solutions, Engineering, Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams.

• Monitor adoption and performance throughout the entire customer lifecycle.

• Oversee portfolio unit economics and develop evidence-based business cases.

• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to address regulatory requirements.

• Foster cross-functional partnerships.

• Present strategies to senior leadership and the board as needed.


⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in product or technical product management, with a focus on owning products end to end and being measured by impact.

• Proven track record in genuine product discovery and realistic opportunity assessment.

• Strong judgment in product and commercial matters.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams from discovery through launch, adoption, and iteration.

• Demonstrable technical fluency, including the ability to read code and understand system design.

• Confident experience working with REST APIs.

• Practical experience in building prototypes or proof-of-concepts.

• Thorough understanding of payment integration patterns, including APIs, SDKs, webhooks, hosted payment experiences, and platform-based integrations.

• Familiarity with modern AI tools.

• Extensive knowledge of the payments domain and experience managing developer-facing platforms are preferable.

• Background checks will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
