This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Define and convey a long-term technical product vision that aligns with business objectives, user requirements, and technological trends.
• Shape strategic product functionalities that are in line with enterprise architecture and scalability aspirations.
• Develop and revise capability maps, roadmaps, and development plans in collaboration with Product Managers and Value Stream Owners.
• Manage project and operational requests through standardized processes, taking ownership of the product backlog.
• Identify and address IT and security risks while aligning objectives with policies, standards, and regulatory mandates.
• Establish and track KPIs/OKRs for compliance and product performance metrics.
• Lead strategic alignment discussions with operational and executive stakeholders.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, feedback loops, demonstrations, and performance evaluations.
• Provide data-driven updates on product progress, experience outcomes, and ROI to senior leadership.
• Guide agile teams in the creation of Epics, Features, and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Advocate for agile principles, continuous improvement, experimentation, and iterative development.
• Utilize user research, analytics, and journey mapping to inform experience-centered product design.
• Collaborate with UX, engineering, compliance, data, legal, and operational teams to deliver secure digital solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into actionable specifications and user stories.
• Evaluate product decisions using a comprehensive understanding of IT architecture.
• Mentor junior product team members and assist with onboarding and capability development initiatives.
• Ensure team alignment with organizational policies, standards, and development frameworks.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related Technology discipline.
• 5–7 years of pertinent work experience.
• Familiarity with systems architecture and business processes in the Insurance sector is preferred.
• Proficient in Office 365, MS Azure, and Agile Collaboration tools.
• Strong understanding of systems architecture, APIs, cloud-native services, and both back-end and front-end integration.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without the need for sponsorship, either as a US citizen or green card holder.
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience in establishing product governance frameworks, prioritization models, and digital operating rhythms.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Capability to convert ambiguous business needs into actionable product strategies with significant ROI.
• Ability to navigate complex environments, resolve conflicts, and unify stakeholders around a common vision.
• Strong organizational, planning, communication, consensus-building, and stakeholder influence skills.
• Hybrid or remote work arrangement.
