Technical Product Owner, Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the platform backlog, ensuring it is organized, refined, prioritized, and prepared with actionable tasks.

• Decompose large requests and initiatives into concise, manageable, and deliverable features.

• Collect requirements from Product Managers and domain leaders across VIP, Payments, Casino, Sportsbook, CRM, and other product sectors.

• Challenge ambiguous or incomplete requests and clarify the essential business needs.

• Draft comprehensive feature specifications, functional requirements, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria.

• Keep product and feature documentation current and accurate in Confluence or similar platforms.

• Facilitate backlog refinement sessions and ensure a shared understanding with the development team.

• Assist development by addressing inquiries, clarifying requirements, and resolving ambiguity or obstacles.

• Review and confirm delivered features against acceptance criteria prior to approval.

• Collaborate with QA on in-depth testing and additional scenarios.

• Identify and communicate dependencies, risks, scope modifications, and gaps early to the Platform Lead.

• Keep stakeholders updated on progress, status, and potential challenges.

• Report to the Platform Lead while independently managing the daily platform backlog and execution flow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar role directly collaborating with software development teams.

• Extensive experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Exceptional skills in gathering requirements and performing analysis.

• Strong written communication skills with experience in creating detailed specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Solid technical understanding and the ability to communicate effectively with developers, while comprehending system dependencies, limitations, and integrations.

• Hands-on approach to validation and comfort in assessing delivered functionality.

• Keen attention to detail and a structured method for managing information and documentation.

• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.

• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.

• Experience in iGaming / online casino is essential.

• Nice to have: experience with VIP, CRM, bonuses, gamification, or experimentation platforms.

• Nice to have: experience dealing with multiple stakeholder groups competing for development resources.

• Nice to have: experience with in-house platforms or internal product teams.
