Technical Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the product initiatives for credit decisioning, fulfillment, and acquisitions that support the Personal Loans sector.

• Take ownership of the product roadmap pertaining to credit decisioning, fulfillment, and acquisition functionalities.

• Establish requirements for backend services and distributed systems that facilitate Personal Loans origination.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable platform-based products that cater to various use cases.

• Guide scrum teams through the processes of planning, managing backlogs, and conducting delivery ceremonies.

• Convert banking and lending requirements into detailed and actionable product specifications.

• Coordinate with credit, risk, and compliance stakeholders to align on decision-making logic and business rules.

• Prioritize the backlog among new acquisition capabilities, platform reliability, and scalability.

• Make informed decisions regarding delivery trade-offs based on data.

• Relay the roadmap, progress updates, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading product initiatives for backend services and distributed systems, preferably with platform-based products.

• Background in the banking or financial services industry; experience in credit decisioning or lending is highly advantageous.

• Demonstrated experience in leading scrum teams, including managing backlogs and conducting sprint ceremonies.

• Familiarity with AWS and its influence on product and technical decision-making.

• Some experience in front-end product work is beneficial, though not essential.

• An engineering background is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to engage deeply with technical details is crucial.

• Excellent stakeholder management abilities across business, risk, and engineering teams.

• Strong communication skills, collaboration, curiosity, and comfort with ambiguity.

• A Bachelor's Degree is required, or three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible technology work experience for each missing year of college, in addition to the minimum years of experience mandated for the role.
