This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of product requirements and ensure delivery across Sentinel's multi-phase roadmap.
• Convert product strategy and high-level requirements into a well-organized, traceable backlog of epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead discovery sessions with design partners and prospective customers, transforming operational and regulatory realities into product requirements.
• Manage the roadmap in alignment with phase gates and delivery criteria.
• Collaborate with data architects, data engineers, and data scientists to define the unified data platform, ingestion and normalization layer, and data-quality features.
• Establish automated data-quality repair, drift monitoring, reconciliation, entity resolution, and shared spatial-data requirements.
• Specify connectors for customer systems of record and external data providers, such as weather, soil, satellite imagery, and locate-ticket sources.
• Oversee requirements related to model configuration, versioning, governance, and audit trails across industry, Irth, and customer-developed models.
• Design agentic AI workflows for document parsing and schema mapping; outline proofs of concept and define human-in-the-loop review thresholds and quality standards.
• Utilize AI tools, including Claude Code, within the product development process alongside Engineering.
• Interpret federal pipeline safety regulations into actionable product logic, auditable outputs, and defensible reporting.
• Define requirements for traceability, compliance documentation, utility rate-case filing outputs, validation, and sensitivity-testing.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Security on multi-tenant isolation, access control, calculation reproducibility, auditability, and security-attestation readiness.
• Facilitate agile execution, including sprint planning, dependency management, release discipline, and delivery metrics.
• Coordinate data, application, GIS, and QA workstreams while resolving cross-team dependencies.
• Work with Product Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Account teams on enablement, pilot feedback, and launch readiness.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical product management, product ownership, or a similar role delivering enterprise software, ideally focusing on data quality, analytics, or modeling.
• Proven ability to convert data science and statistical modeling concepts into governed, structured, and actionable end-user workflows, effectively communicating model behavior to non-technical stakeholders.
• Practical experience with data, including schema design and alignment, pipeline and ingestion design, managing missing or inconsistent data, and governance practices ensuring defensible and audit-ready outputs.
• Experience applying AI within product and delivery workflows, such as prompt engineering, AI-assisted workflow automation, or agent design, with sound judgment regarding the appropriate use of AI.
• Successful history of delivering products in regulated or compliance-focused environments, translating external requirements into functional software within set deadlines.
• Experience with complex integrations, data migrations, or platform transformations, particularly involving customer migrations from legacy systems to contemporary platforms.
• Strong agile delivery capabilities and the credibility to manage a technical team's delivery cadence, including backlog health, capacity planning, dependency management, and timely releases.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Azure, GitHub, Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), and AI coding tools, or the ability to quickly adapt to new tools.
• Exceptional written communication skills for drafting requirements, specifications, and decision documents that can withstand engineering and regulatory scrutiny.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, or a related technical field.
