Technical Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the roadmap for payment integrations from the initial technical scoping to the go-live stage.

• Create concise technical specifications for the Engineering team.

• Handle multiple integrations simultaneously.

• Collaborate effectively with Engineering during the development and testing phases.

• Establish and monitor success metrics for integrations.

• Update Commercial and leadership teams on progress, obstacles, and trade-offs.

• Discover opportunities to automate and standardize the integration process using AI and tools.

• Assist in the integration of new payment methods and Payment Service Providers (PSPs).

• Partner with Engineering and other teams to enhance payment coverage in both new and existing markets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in product management or a similar product or technical role.

• Experience in the payments sector, preferably within a fintech or startup environment.

• Technical expertise in Computer Science, Engineering, or practical experience with APIs and technical integrations.

• Proficient in reading API documentation and comprehending integration flows.

• Capable of discussing technical trade-offs with engineers.

• Skilled in writing clear technical specifications and requirements.

• Competent in managing multiple integrations simultaneously and prioritizing based on business impact and technical complexity.

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Comfortable collaborating with external partners and clients.

• Passionate about utilizing automation and AI tools to minimize manual tasks and enhance process efficiency.
