This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement IT programs that support Stat & Tax functions.
• Track essential metrics to guarantee that milestones are achieved on schedule and within budget.
• Assist in large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Outline system capabilities, the business rationale, and the delivery of value.
• Collaborate with application, data, governance, and business stakeholders.
• Foster alignment and adoption across various business units and ERP teams without direct authority.
• Engage with, advise, and present information to senior leadership.
• Convert intricate technical and experiential metrics into actionable business narratives.
• Develop learning materials, deliver presentations, and promote continuous education.
• Manage relationships with managed services and software providers that support Tax applications.
• Ensure operational SLAs are met and that product roadmaps are comprehended and influenced.
• Mentor, coach, and cultivate the skills of product managers and analysts.
• Define the long-term vision and prioritize the roadmap for the Tax ecosystem.
• Create business cases for automation and AI capabilities.
• Align Digital Transformation (DT) and business-unit ERP teams on necessary ERP modifications prompted by tax initiatives or compliance requirements.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in manual processes and technical debt.
• Oversee the data architecture strategy for tax reporting, compliance, accuracy, and auditability.
• Lead change management and drive the adoption of Tax tools.
• Collaborate with ERP teams to simplify ERP processes.
• Standardize tools and processes for Tax DT systems.
• Manage the Tax DT communication strategy and engage stakeholders.
• Identify and advocate for high-impact AI use cases.
• Conduct empathy-driven discovery sessions with Tax stakeholders.
• Monitor program and run KPIs and formulate corrective action plans.
• Extract insights from application usage and industry trends.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from strategy development and inception to retirement.
• Provide guidance to senior management on the health, productivity, and risks of Tax systems.
• Prepare executive briefings and assist with high-level DT strategic shifts.
• Lead high-profile, cross-organizational projects and secure support without direct authority.
• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent knowledge or experience, in Computer Science or STEM fields with substantial experience.
• Over 12 years of experience in IT/Digital Transformation.
• At least 5 years in complex Finance systems, Tax technology, or ERP transformation programs.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or tax engine implementations.
• Proven ability to set targets, implement plans, and deliver results.
• Capability to plan and impose structure in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Proficient in managing risk and uncertainty.
• Strong business analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
• Able to dissect problems and make decisions even when issues or solutions are not fully defined.
• Competent in evaluating products and processes for compliance.
• Skilled at measuring trends and taking appropriate actions.
• Capable of interacting with all levels of the organization and with GE businesses and partners.
• Experienced in leading and influencing within a complex, global matrix organization.
• Able to identify and eliminate project barriers.
• Possesses critical thinking and disciplined methods for resolving issues and defining solutions.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidently interface with senior leadership with clarity.
