This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Assume responsibility for the technical operation of the AI-driven learning platform.
• Guarantee the quality of new features and the foundational infrastructure.
• Serve as the liaison between Product, Technology, and AI services.
• Actively engage in the formulation of product strategy.
• Convert the content requirements of the Psychology Team into technical solutions.
• Facilitate coordination among the Psychology Team, backend, and frontend development teams.
• Provide updates on development progress to ensure a mutual understanding.
• Contribute to the product roadmap based on testing outcomes, support insights, and technology scouting.
• Prioritize upcoming implementations effectively.
• Conduct systematic testing of new features, identify issues promptly, and make go-live decisions.
• Establish and enhance QA processes continuously.
• Conduct systematic testing of both frontend and backend in the event of errors and validate fixes.
• Utilize the ticketing system to maintain clarity and traceability.
• Manage the Google Cloud environment and access to third-party AI providers.
• Oversee projects, permissions, quotas, and costs efficiently.
• Configure and integrate new platforms and AI services seamlessly.
• Ensure infrastructure is secure, well-documented, and scalable.
• Address user inquiries and provide support for technical issues.
• Analyze inquiries, feedback, and usage data; identify bugs; and propose enhancements to the learning experience.
• Keep an eye on the market for LLMs, text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and video avatars.
• Assess new models and tools, providing well-reasoned recommendations for advancing the AI stack.
• A technical background along with a completed university degree.
• Technical proficiency, curiosity, and a readiness to quickly learn new topics.
• Interest in generative AI and a commitment to developing a comprehensive technical understanding of the product and platforms.
• Proficient in both German and English.
• Excellent communication skills with the capability to facilitate collaboration between the Psychology Team, Development, and users.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly, provide constructive feedback, and document information in an easily understandable manner.
• Independent and solution-focused working style.
• Openness to working in a dynamic startup environment characterized by flexibility, speed, and the chance to influence outcomes.
• Experience in administering cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with managing access, permissions, and projects.
• Initial professional experience in technical product management, IT administration, cloud, or QA/testing is advantageous.
• Software development experience is a plus.
• Experience working remotely with strong self-organization skills while away from company locations.
