This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage a complete portfolio of technology and integration partners, including the phases of sourcing, evaluation, technical scoping, launch, and ongoing growth.
• Identify and assess partnership opportunities by analyzing merchant overlap, attachment rates, revenue implications, and associated costs for building and maintaining relationships.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with partners, gaining insights into APIs, data models, and architectures to effectively scope integrations and identify potential risks.
• Convert partner opportunities into detailed written specifications and business cases for the Product team.
• Advocate for ecosystem requirements during product roadmap discussions.
• Collaborate with Marketing on co-marketing initiatives, joint content creation, app listings, webinars, and events.
• Develop enablement resources for Sales, Solutions, and Support teams to effectively sell and service integrations.
• Act as the point of escalation for partner-related technical issues.
• Take ownership of quarterly objectives related to the partner-influenced pipeline and integration adoption.
• Create operational processes that include tiering, partner agreements with the Legal team, review schedules, and reporting mechanisms.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical partnerships, partner/solutions engineering, technical account management, product marketing, or a related role that involves both commercial outcomes and technical discussions.
• Proficient in reading API documentation, understanding webhooks and data flows, utilizing a sandbox environment, and engaging effectively with a partner's engineering team.
• Experience in quantifying partnership opportunities and assessing revenue potential.
• Background in ecommerce or martech is highly preferred; familiarity with the Shopify ecosystem is a plus.
• Strong writing capabilities for developing specifications, business cases, and partner briefs.
• Proven ability to influence a product roadmap without direct ownership.
• Excellent attention to detail coupled with a process-oriented and solution-focused mindset.
• Track record of meeting and exceeding performance goals.
• Familiarity with CRM and partner/opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
